Monday- Ready! Set! Write! : Children will participate in the well known Handwriting Without Tears Program. Activites will involve masters key reading and writing concepts, such as directional, size, relationships, letter recognition, likeness and differences, colors, numeral recognition, and counting.
Tuesday-Science For Kids: From Mud Pies to Magnets: Children will be introduced to Science ideas covering topic areas such as the earth around us, animals, weather, plants, properties of matter and the human body.
Wednesday- Number Fun has Just Begun: Children will enjoy exposure to math readiness skills as we learn to identify numbers, and focus on sequencing, matching, sorting and patterns.
Thursday- Ready! Set! Write!: Children will participate in the well known Handwriting Without Tears Program. Activites will involve masters key reading and writing concepts, such as directional, size, relationships, letter recognition, likeness and differences, colors, numeral recognition, and counting.
Friday- Lil' Masters in Art: The children will be exploring and learning about the famous Masters in Art. They will learn about the history and life of several artisits. They will have exposure to the artists' paintings and drawings as they discover the various techniques and qualities of their work. The children will produce their own art in a similar style inspired by the artist they are studying. Some of the artisits they will be exploring are Georgia O'Keefe, Van Gogh, Jackson Pollock, Picasso, Matisse,Money and Mondrain.
